MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
 

The Product Operations Associate's primary responsibility is managing the day-to-day operations of Sprout’s Fintech products. 
 

TASKS:

• Operational Management: Oversee and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of fintech products, maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
• Issue Monitoring and Escalation: Monitor any issues and escalate problems to technical teams or management as necessary to minimize the impact on product performance.
• Growth Enablement: Collaborate closely with the Product Managers and Growth teams to facilitate and drive product adoption and sales strategies.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on product usage, performance metrics, and growth opportunities regularly, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly analyses.
• Product Expertise and Updates: Stay updated with all developments related to the product, maintaining expertise in its functionalities, updates, and industry changes to provide informed support and leadership.
• Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough research on competitive products, industry trends, regulatory changes, and market needs to inform operational adjustments.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product operations and work with the legal and finance team to develop and implement mitigation strategies. 
• Training and Development: Develop and conduct training sessions for internal teams and external clients to improve product understanding and encourage effective usage.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for internal procedures and product guides that can be used for training and reference purposes.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and recommend improvements in processes and tools used in operations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ad Hoc Duties: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management, adapting to evolving business needs and projects. 

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

• At least two to four years in Finance Operations or a related field. Experience in a fintech environment is highly advantageous.
• A bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, or Mathematics due to their relevance to analytical and strategic roles within fintech.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities are essential. Must be proficient in engaging with both technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. 
• Proven ability to work independently under pressure, efficiently manage tight deadlines, and effectively multitask. Strong prioritization skills are critical.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with meticulous attention to detail. The candidate should be capable of conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis and adept at solving problems through innovative and logical solutions.
• Must possess an outcome-driven mindset with a focus on achieving business goals. An entrepreneurial spirit and proactive project management and operations approach are highly desirable.
• Understanding relevant software and tools, such as project management software (e.g., Jira, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Pendo). 
• A good grasp of relevant regulatory and compliance issues (BSP, SEC, AML) can be crucial given the financial nature. This helps ensure that the product operations adhere to all legal standards and avoid costly violations.
• Skills in user experience design principles help to understand customer needs and behaviors to enhance the processes effectively.
