Join our dynamic team as an AI Engineer Intern and immerse yourself in the world of AI research, software development, and automation. In this internship, you'll play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of AI to drive our company's growth and innovation forward.

DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:
Engineering Manager - Sprout AI Lab

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our AI Engineers to develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms.
Contribute to the creation and enhancement of software applications that leverage AI to solve complex business challenges.
Assist in automating processes across various departments using AI techniques, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.
Participate in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to support AI research initiatives.
Analyze AI model performance and iterate on improvements based on real-world results.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into existing systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends, technologies, and research to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
Collaborate with senior AI engineers to learn and grow your skills in AI research, software development, and automation.

Requirements:

Enrolled in a relevant academic program, such as computer science, data science, or AI.
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and their practical applications.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.
Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Basic knowledge of software development principles and practices.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to tackle complex challenges.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous coursework or projects related to AI research, software development, machine learning, or automation.
Experience with neural networks, deep learning, or natural language processing.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and their AI services.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative software development.
Understanding of automation tools and frameworks.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
Passion for staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and automation.
