Engineering Manager - Platform Operations

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

As a DevOps Support Developer Intern, you will work closely with the DevOps and engineering teams to support and enhance our CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment processes.
Support system and application monitoring efforts using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent.
Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve environment-related issues.
Document DevOps processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Support automation of routine operational tasks using scripts and tools (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Learn and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Conduct basic performance tuning and capacity planning for deployed applications.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
