Role Overview

WE are seeking a highly dependable and detail-oriented Appraiser & Operations Coordinator to support both front-line appraisal functions and overall business operations. This role is critical in a small, hands-on organization and requires someone who can be trusted with valuable assets, cash, sensitive information, and external coordination.

The position combines collateral appraisaloperations supportcash and administrative management, and coordination with service providers, working closely with management.


Key Responsibilities

Appraisal & Front-Line Duties

  • Evaluate, authenticate, and appraise collateral items such as jewelry, watches, and other high-value goods

  • Conduct detailed inspections and ensure accurate, consistent valuations

  • Prepare and maintain proper documentation for appraisals, loans, and redemptions

  • Provide professional, discreet, and high-quality customer service

  • Assist in safeguarding inventory and ensuring proper handling and storage of collateral


Operations, Finance & Cash Management

  • Oversee daily cash handling and basic cash management, including coordination with the cashier

  • Monitor cash balances and assist with bank deposits and withdrawals

  • Coordinate with banks regarding accounts, payments, and required documentation

  • Ensure proper recording and safekeeping of financial and transactional documents


Administrative & Business Coordination

  • Coordinate with the company’s external accountant for reports, documentation, audits, and compliance requirements

  • Liaise with manpower agencies regarding staffing, contracts, schedules, and basic HR matters

  • Coordinate with IT service providers for system setup, troubleshooting, POS support, and data security

  • Handle or oversee payment of utilities, rent, and other operational bills

  • Assist in procuring and coordinating HMO and employee benefit providers

  • Maintain organized physical and digital records and ensure timely follow-ups


Compliance & Support Functions

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Support management in day-to-day operational matters and special projects

  • Act as a trusted point of contact between management and external partners


Qualifications & Skills

  • Background in appraisal, pawnshop operations, jewelry, watches, luxury goods, or retail finance is an advantage

  • Highly trustworthy, detail-oriented, and organized

  • Comfortable handling cash, valuables, and confidential information

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a small-business environment

  • Proficient in basic office software and documentation tools
