DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:

Sr. People Operations Manager

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The People Operations Manager is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end HR operations that support the employee lifecycle — from onboarding to offboarding — while ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and international audit standards such as ISO 27001:2022 and SOC 2.

 

This role serves as the key compliance and reporting officer within the People team, ensuring HR data integrity, timely submission of reports, and audit readiness at all times. The People Operations Manager drives operational excellence by combining structured process management, proactive data monitoring, and digital automation to support leadership decisions and organizational goals.



TASKS:

 

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee all employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in alignment with Data Privacy Act and audit standards.
  • Lead HR’s participation in ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits, ensuring timely submission of evidence, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with DOLE, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG regulations.
  • Monitor adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., employment contracts, government filings, timekeeping, and payroll compliance).
 

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent handling of cases.
  • Conduct investigations, documentation, and disciplinary actions aligned with the company code of conduct.
  • Advise leaders on employee relations best practices to maintain a healthy, compliant work environment.
  • Develop proactive engagement and retention strategies based on employee feedback and exit trends.
  • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling employee concerns and conflicts.
 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage end-to-end payroll preparation and validation in coordination with Finance.
  • Oversee administration of company and government-mandated benefits, ensuring accuracy and timely remittance.
  • Conduct periodic compensation benchmarking and ensure internal pay equity.
 

Performance & Development

  • Drive the company’s performance management cycle, ensuring timely goal-setting, calibration, and feedback sessions.
  • Support learning and development initiatives through needs analysis, training coordination, and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Partner with leaders to create growth and succession plans aligned with organizational goals.
 

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Lead employee engagement programs, surveys, and recognition initiatives to foster a positive culture.
  • Implement strategies based on engagement and retention metrics to improve employee experience and reduce attrition.
  • Act as an employee relations point-person, resolving concerns fairly and in line with company policies.
 

Office management and administration

  • Oversee office operations, facilities, and vendor management to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive workplace.
  • Manage procurement and inventory of office supplies, employee assets, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Admin, IT, and Security for office maintenance, seating arrangements, and safety compliance.
  • Supervise office-related budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Lead office initiatives that promote well-being, collaboration, and company culture.
 

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Oversee the company’s HRIS (e.g., Sprout HR) and other digital tools to streamline HR processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to improve HR efficiency and data integrity.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and dashboards for leadership reporting.
